Description

Let's face it, cranberry sauce out of the can is no match for the real deal! This simple version made honey and the sweetness of oranges is worthy to stand beside a Thanksgiving bird or a roasted pork tenderloin.

Ingredients

3cfresh cranberries
1⁄4cwater
2 oranges (juiced and zested)
 pnsalt
 pncloves or cinnamon
1Thoney

Instructions

Combine cranberries, water, zest and juice of oranges together in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cranberries have burst and sauce starts to thicken, ~ 5 minutes. Add cloves or cinnamon and salt. Add honey and test for desired sweetness. More honey can be added. Serve warm or chilled.
