Refried beans are a great starter for recipes, but often times too bland to use on their own. This black bean version is a tasty dip to be served warm or chilled. I like to put this along side my cilantro pesto with tortilla chips for a simple appetizer platter.
|1||can refried black beans|
|1⁄3||c||plain lowfat yogurt|
|1||can diced green chilis (slightly drained)|
|1||fresh pressed lime|
In a food processor, pulse onion and chilis until well combined. Add black beans, yogurt and water and combine on medium speed. Add spices and lime juice and combine again. Chill or serve immediately.
