Description

A recipe designed to enhance the natural flavor of kale. Yield of recipe says 4 servings, but I sometimes eat the entire bowl as a meal.

Ingredients

1bnKale
1 1⁄2tolive oil
1⁄2tchopped garlic
2Tstock (vegetable or chicken)
  salt/pepper to taste

Notes

Cooking tongs work best when turning kale in a pan.

Instructions

Slice kale by cutting down the center stock to remove the leaves. Chop kale into slices from there. Heat oil in pan, making sure that that the oil completely covers the bottom of the pan before adding ingredients. Add garlic and cook for 15-30 seconds. Add kale to pan and turn until the kale turns emerald green. Add stock and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Cook an additional 1-1 1/2 minutes. Immediately transfer to serving bowl.
