Description

A non-traditional dip that will delight many senses, as it's vibrant color will draw in curious guests. The flavor will keep them coming back for more. Served with crackers or warm flatbread, this tapenade will quickly replace the standard hummus and chips at your gatherings.

Ingredients

2ozcan of beets, drained
1 medium shallot
1⁄2trosemary, crushed
2Thoney
  zest of an orange
1Tbalsamic vinegar
1tsalt
1tfresh ground black pepper
  crackers, flatbread or pizza crust for serving

Instructions

Place shallot and rosemary in food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add all other additional ingredients and pulse until well chopped, but not smooth. Scraping food processor bowl in between cycles works well. Remove from processor and place in serving dish. Serve with warm prepared pizza crust, such as Udi's, crackers or warm flatbread and goat cheese.
